The Luther College Junior Girls Basketball Team, comprising our best basketball talent from Year 7 and 8, have achieved outstanding results, coming fifth nationally at the week-long Australian School Basketball Championships on the Gold Coast.
Coming off a successful Victorian campaign, the girls were eager to compete with the best teams from around the country. In what was a challenging week, the team battled hard, never game up and learnt a lot along the way. To place 5th nationally is a tremendous achievement, and we are very proud of the girl’s efforts throughout the tournament.
