At Luther College, we know that investment in effective research and development is vital for growth. Evidence-informed practice in teaching and learning is instrumental in fostering academic excellence and achieving exceptional student outcomes. Our Teaching Excellence Development Hub, the TED Hub, is the evolution of our R&D work across the college.

TED Hub

The TED Hub is led by a team of creative and innovative educators, each focused on supporting and developing professional practice of our teachers through co-creation, collaboration and coaching.  It is a place for teachers to frequent, share their professional practice, experiment with new ideas, develop creative insights, engage with cutting-edge research and test solutions. It will also open opportunities for further collaboration with our partner universities, educational organisations, key leaders and industry partners, leading to the exchange of knowledge, innovative ideas, and resources for our community.

This ongoing work supports our commitment to continuous improvement through the professional development of our teachers, ensuring that we stay ahead of educational trends, implement evidence-informed strategies, and adopt best practices to enhance learning outcomes. We look forward to sharing some of the outcomes of this work with students, parents, staff and the broader community through the TED Hub’s Research Gate.
