Despite a wet start, this week’s annual House Cross Country Carnival yielded outstanding results, both individually and across House teams.
The Year 7 cohort kicked things off with plenty of enthusiasm as they tackled the three-kilometre course around the college campus and surrounding streets. The course challenged students with a combination of surfaces and incline changes.
Year 8 students were next, battling the worst weather of the day, but coming through with smiles and exhaustion. Year 9, 10 and Senior students closed out the morning, each race concluding with medal presentations.
Congratulations to all our winners and well done to each and every participant, some of whom ran, walked or even skipped their way to the finish line, your involvement and House spirit was amazing. Students will now go on to compete at the EISM interschool carnival in early September.
Special thank you to our Sport Department for their leadership of the event and to all our staff for their support on the day.
