Across two days, our House leaders from Middle and Senior Schools were officially installed.
Both services, led by students, together with Chaplain Anita Foster and Heads of Middle and Senior Schools Mr Richard Malone and Mr Tim Martin were a wonderful opportunity to encourage House spirit, and remind everyone of the many opportunities they have throughout the year to get behind their House.
Our six Houses (Birt, Cheong, Nelson, Wicklow, Warran and Yarra), form the basis of our pastoral care program, providing a network of care and support for students, but it’s the events throughout the year such as swimming, athletics, cross country, public speaking and chess that provide a little healthy competition.
Heads of House and Home Group Mentors were given a blessing for the year ahead and a student representative from each House received a candle, lighting it, paving the way for a wonderful year ahead.
