Luther College Croydon - Autumn Concert

Greater care
Greater learning

Autumn Concert

We are greatly anticipating our annual Autumn Concert, being held this year on Thursday 17 May, in the Luther College Chapel at 7.30pm.

The concert will feature works by Australian composers and arrangers. This celebration of Australian works is an important part of supporting the Arts within our home grown community. The evening will also showcase a variety of our ensembles and provide valuable performance experience for our students, as well as giving families the opportunity to support our up and coming musicians.

The evening will feature items from Collyer Strings, Maplewood Strings, The Scrolls, Electric Strings, Soul Band, Stage Band, Luther Voices, A’ Choired Taste, Rock Ensemble, Guitar Ensemble, Percussion Ensemble, Training Band, Concert Band and Symphonic Band, performing the Australian repertoire they have worked on so far this semester.

The Concert is also an important fundraising event for our 2019 International Music Tour. Coffee, tea, Anzac biscuits, lamingtons and other Australian themed food will be available on the evening to purchase for a gold coin donation.

We look forward to sharing this autumn evening with you.
