Touch Football Team off to Queensland for National Titles

A group of twelve Year 9 girls departed for Queensland today to compete in the Touch Football Harvey Normal National Schools Cup.

Coached by Old Scholar and current teacher, Ms Karri Butterworth, our Year 9 Girls Touch Football team competed in the State Schools Cup earlier this year. Finishing as one of the top two teams in the state, the girls were invited by Touch Football Victoria to compete in the Harvey Norman National Schools Cup in the Sunshine Coast from 13-17 September.

The team has been busy fundraising and training for the event and are very proud to have the opportunity to represent Luther College at such an elite level. Check out the Touch Football Australia website to learn more and watch the games via livestream http://touchfootball.com.au/2017-tournament-livestream/

Congratulations girls on your commitment and dedication in preparation for the national titles and we wish you all the best.
