The Premier’s VCE Award ceremony acknowledges individual achievements by the students and pays tribute to the teachers, parents and principals who play an invaluable role in supporting and encouraging students during their VCE studies.
Angus, who is now studying Engineering Environmental (Honours) at RMIT University, received his Premier’s VCE Award for Geography, for which he attained a perfect score of 50. Angus was also subject dux of History – Revolutions.
Katie, a current Year 12 student, received a Premier’s VCE Award for Psychology, for which she attained a perfect score of 50. This year, Katie is also studying Indonesian, Literature, Mathematical Methods, Theatre Studies and VET – Acting.
“Receiving a Premier’s VCE Award is a wonderful way to recognise a student’s hard work”, says Tim Martin, Luther College’s Head of Senior School. “Angus and Katie have displayed the commitment and organisation required to obtain excellent results in the VCE. We wish both Angus and Katie well in their ongoing studies. Congratulations to both students.”
